We called in with a very sick pet at the beginning of August, Dr. Schrader was able to fit her in that day, we were not clients of Salina Veterinary Hospital at the time. They gave us options and worked with us to help out with our dogs care. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Dr.Schrader, Hailey, Cathrine, or any of the other vet techs at this hospital. They didn't have to see her, but they did anyway, and for that I will always be thankful.

Will definitely return. Brought a stray cat in I’ve had inside for about a month after my last vet left me with more questions and answers, and Dr. Byrd and her team truly surpassed my expectations. Extremely compassionate people who clearly care for the animals that are brought in. I asked multiple questions that were answered with no hesitation and never made me feel like I was being annoying lol. Even thought he was a little naughty (sorry to the ladies getting bit) they handled him super well and made sure he was as comfortable as possible given the situation. At one point I started to tear up thinking about how much the poor guy had suffered just because the last vet decided not to check for parasites in a stray cat, but it just made me feel even more relieved that I had finally found a clinic that I could trust not only with this kitty, but also my other immunocompromised cat. Thank you Dr Byrd! :)
